he_logo_web-500pxThis two-day course, which is organised by Historic England and hosted by the University of Leicester, will examine issues around the conservation and management of industrial heritage, and is aimed at local authority historic environment staff, other curators, and consultants responsible for assessing the significance of industrial heritage and looking for solutions for long term management. The course may also appeal to other professionals and managers/trustees of historic industrial sites.

The main aim of the course is to provide an understanding of a selection of industrial (and post-industrial) buildings and sites, the assessment of their significance, their protection, and the management issues faced by these kinds of heritage assets.

The first 8 places are available at £275 (including accommodation and evening meal), once these are sold the standard price is £375 (including accommodation and evening meal). Discounts are also available if you do not require accommodation or an evening meal.
